Mezuzah's
| A miniature
replica of the Mezuzah that is often fixed to the doorpost of a Jewish home. The first 2
paragraphs of the "Shema" (Deut 6:4-9; 11:13-21) are inscribed on a parchment
and inserted into the container. The jewelry version is worn around the neck and is a
symbol of jewish identity and a reminder of god's presence everywhere.
* Not all mezuzah's have parchments |
