WHY is Global Jewelry posting the notice shown above?
Global Jewelry's platinum products were priced when platinum was hovering around $550 per ounce. Today as you can see above, platinum is trading at a considerably higher price. Global Jewelry's current website is built on static pages (without a dynamic database driven website). Because of this only two options are available:
Physically change the price of every platinum item on a daily basis (which would take one person the entire day) OR
Create the 'include notice' and have it shown on every page offering platinum products.
AS of today, Global Jewelry is able to update the 'include notice' (as shown above) in a matter of seconds versus having one person spend the entire day updating each price.
* Global Jewelry is currently developing a new (database driven website) which will automatically adjust prices based on current precious metal prices. Upon completion and thoroughly tested the 'new' site will replace the site you are currently viewing and prices will be updated on a daily basis.
